There’s a belly in Toronto…Rookie Schneider makes MLB history

The Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball (MLB)바카라 have a new player on their roster. It’s rookie infielder Davis Schneider, 24.

Schneider, who was called up to the MLB for the first time on May 5, has been energizing the Toronto roster with his performance.

In his big league debut against the Boston Red Sox on the same day he was called up, Schneider made his presence felt, going 2-for-5 with a home run, one RBI, and one run scored.

He didn’t stop there. After going 3-for-3 with a home run, a walk, and a run scored in the next game, Schneider went 5-for-4 with a home run, four RBIs, and a run scored in Game 7 to spark a three-game sweep of Boston.

Schneider’s performance also made MLB history. According to MLB.com, Schneider is the first rookie to have nine hits, including two home runs, in his first three games following a big league call-up.

Toronto manager John Schneider was encouraged by the rookie’s performance.

“It’s hard to take Schneider out of the lineup,” the Toronto skipper said, “He’s been a spark. “It’s hard to take him out of the lineup. He’s been a spark. It’s been fun to see him get the shackles off and come to the big leagues and get results quickly.

Behind Schneider, Toronto scored 25 runs on 44 hits in the three-game series against Boston. That’s a lot of firepower.

If Schneider continues to perform like this in the future, it will be a huge boost for a team fighting for a postseason berth. It will be especially interesting to see if he can provide some hot support for Ryu Hyun-jin, who starts against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Aug. 8.
