On the same day, according to Manchester United’s official website, Ten Hag commented on the decision: “Good news for United? Yes. I think it is good news for United. Varane has achieved it all. International football, club football and the French national team. .I have respect for everything Baran has accomplished, and I am happy that he is putting all his energy and experience into our team.”

“Baran informed me before making the decision. That’s all. It wasn’t a decision I discussed and made. Baran is a veteran and a player who can make that decision (alone). I have only respect for him. But he still has ambition. , and all he wants to do is win with Manchester United (to which he will be committed).”
