Jurgen Klinsmann (59), Korea’s national football team coach, has been selected as a UEFA advisory committee member.
The European Football Federation 메이저놀이터 (UEFA) announced on the 21st (Korean time), “Star players and elite leaders with brilliant careers as players will form an advisory committee and hold a meeting.” The list includes the Korean national team’s head coach Jurgen Klinsmann.
UEFA explained, “The advisory committee, which was approved at a meeting held in Lisbon earlier this month, proceeds to add their own experience and professional advice on basic football-related topics such as game methods, judgments and game schedules.”
“The advisory board is made up of individuals with outstanding national team achievements, an impeccable reputation and extensive experience,” he added.
Along with manager Klinsmann, AS Roma manager Jose Mourinho, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti, Zinedine Zidane, Paulo Maldini, Fabio Capello, Javier Zanetti, Luis Figo, Philippe Lahm and other celebrities were named.
“For decades, people who have made the history of the game of football through their talents and philosophies have come together for football and its intrinsic values. We are delighted to share this news,” UEFA added.
Meanwhile, an official from the Korea Football Association (KFA) said, “Coach Klinsmann will move to the UEFA headquarters in Switzerland to attend the meeting.
