The Futures All-Star Game, which showcases the stars of the future of the KBO, is now just a ‘play ball’ away.
The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) announced on Thursday that the 2023 KBO Futures All-Star Game at Sajik Baseball Stadium in Busan will start at 6:15 p.m., 15 minutes later than originally planned due to ground maintenance.
The Little League Baseball All-Star Game and the Women’s Baseball Home Run Race, which were preceded by the All-Star Friday, were cancelled due to rain, but the rain tapered off after 4 p.m.
As of 5pm, the rain had stopped and the Futures All-Star Game was set to go ahead as normal, with the tarps removed and the grounds prepared. Players from both teams are in the dugouts preparing for the game.
The Futures All-Star Game will feature 48 players, 24 representing the Northern League All-Stars (Hanwha Eagles, LG Twins, Goyang Heroes, SSG Landers, and Doosan Bears) and 24 representing the Southern League All-Stars (Sangsang Baseball Club, NC Dinos, Samsung Lions, Lotte Giants, KT Wiz, and KIA Tigers). The Northern League All-Stars will be led by Hanwha’s Kim Sung-gap, while the Southern League All-Stars will be led by Commerce Baseball’s Park Chi-wang.
Only players who joined the team in 2019 or later, in their fifth year or less as of this season, are eligible to participate, and players on the roster can play in the Future All-Star Game even if they are registered with the first team.카지노
