Freeman’s team beats ATL…LAD snaps 2-game losing streak, moves over the 30-win mark

The Los Angeles Dodgers have snapped a three-game losing streak.

The Dodgers won 8-6 against the Atlanta Braves in the ‘2023 Major League Baseball (MLB) World Series at Truiste Park in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S., on Wednesday (July 23). With the win, the Dodgers snapped a two-game losing streak and improved to 30-19 on the season.

The fifth inning turned the game around. Miguel Rojas led off with a single to left, and Mookie Betts drew a walk to put runners on first and second. Freeman followed with a triple to right field to put them ahead.

The Dodgers answered right back with a run of their own. In the sixth, Rojas hit a double down the left field line to put runners on second and third, and Betts followed with a single to left.

In the seventh, they extended their lead with a home run. With the bases loaded, Martinez hit a massive 131-meter arch over the center field fence.

The Dodgers gave up a run in the eighth on an RBI single to Osuna, but were unable to score any more runs.
