Pittsburgh Pirates’ Bae Ji-hwan (24) drew attention for his quick feet in a rehab game following an ankle injury.
Bae, who has been playing for Pittsburgh’s Triple-A Indianapolis Indians since the injury, started in center field and batted leadoff against the Minnesota Twins’ Triple-A St. Paul Saints at CHS Field in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Sunday (July 17)온라인바카라 and went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and two runs scored.
He led off the first inning with a single to left. Nick Gonzalez followed with a single to right, and the right fielder made a throwing error. Bae then rounded third base and ran home. Bae’s quick feet were on display.
After a grounder to shortstop in the second inning, Bae led off the fifth inning with a double to left field. This time, he reached on an error. He saw Bae running to second and threw, but the throw was way off. Bae then ran wild.

He sprinted around third base and raced home. The multi-hit game was followed by a multi-RBI game. The team posted a video of him running after the hit on social media, saying, “His speed is unbelievable.”
Bae later drew a full-count walk with two outs in the seventh inning to complete a three-strikeout game. Bae, who felt ankle pain while running the bases in a major league game against the Milwaukee Brewers on March 2 and was placed on the disabled list (IL) the next day, has been working his way back to the big leagues in rehab games.
He’s been playing in Triple-A since the past two days, and in nine games, he’s batting 3-for-4 with one home run, seven doubles, two triples, nine runs scored, and a .993 OPS (on-base plus slugging percentage). He’s getting closer to returning to the big leagues.
