Ha-Sung Kim 먹튀검증(28, San Diego Padres) had two strikeouts in the loss.
Kim went 0-for-2 with a walk and two strikeouts as the San Diego Padres batted first and second in the third game of their three-game series against the Detroit Tigers at Comerica Park in Detroit, Michigan, USA, on 24 April.
From his first at-bat, he was on fire. Led off the first inning with a walk and drew a nine-pitch walk off Detroit starter Alex Paedo. Has reached base in three straight games. After picking off pitches at 1B-2S, he fouled off three straight pitches and then watched two more pitches go by. However, he was stranded as Fernando Tatis Jr. struck out and Juan Soto popped out to end the inning.
Trailing 0-1 in the third inning, a throwing error by third baseman Jack McKinstry with the bases loaded allowed the tying run to reach base. This time, however, Tatis Jr. flied out to centre field to end the inning with no runs scored.

Kim’s hitting continued. In the top of the sixth inning, down 0-3, he drew another walk against Paedo. He watched for the first pitch and then picked off four pitches in a row. Kim was again thrown out at second base when Tatis Jr. singled.
His final at-bat was a walk. Trailing 1-3 and with the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth, he ended his at-bat with a grounder to shortstop. At 1B-2S, he took a five-pitch 99.3 mph (159 km/h) sinker from Jason Polley.
With no hits and just two walks, Kim’s season batting average dropped slightly to 2.067 from 2.068. His hitting streak was snapped at two games.

San Diego, fourth in the National League West, saw its three-game winning streak snapped with a 1-3 loss to Detroit. They are 48-52 on the season. Starter Joe Musgrove suffered his third loss of the season (9-3) despite a quality start, allowing three runs on seven hits (two homers) with one walk and six strikeouts in six innings.
Detroit, which snapped a two-game losing streak, improved to 45-54 in the American League Central. Starter Paedo picked up his second win of the season (4-2) with six innings of one-hit ball, four strikeouts and two walks, while Riley Green, Spencer Tokelson and Kerry Carpenter led the offence with multi-hit efforts.
San Diego returns home for a three-game midweek series against the Pittsburgh Pirates starting on the 25th. All eyes will be on the Korean League matchup between Kim Ha-seong and Choi Ji-Man (Pittsburgh).
