‘0-5 → 7-6 reverse drama’ Samsung wins two days in a row against Doosan… Oh Jae-il Grand Slam Bang! 

Samsung won two consecutive victories by directing a thrilling come-from-behind drama with captain Oh Jae-il’s grand slam. 

Samsung won 7-6 in a home game 메이저놀이터against Doosan held at Daegu Samsung Lions Park on the 27th. Kim Tae-hoon, who transferred from Kiwoom, added saves from the first day. 

The Samsung batting order consisted of second baseman Kim Ji-chan, left fielder Jose Pirella, right fielder Koo Ja-wook, catcher Kang Min-ho, first baseman Oh Jae-il, shortstop Lee Jae-hyeon, third baseman Kim Young-woong, designated hitter Jo Min-seong, and center fielder Kim Seong-yoon. 

Doosan’s starting lineup consisted of center fielder Su-bin Jung, right fielder Jo Su-haeng, first baseman Yang Seok-hwan, designated hitter Kim Jae-hwan, catcher Yang Eui-ji, left fielder Jose Rojas, shortstop Ahn Jae-seok, and third baseman Heo Kyung-min. 

In the game on the 26th, Doosan, who lost 0-1 due to no shot in scoring position, completed the second big inning. Kang Seung-ho, the 1st and 2nd baseman in the first company, created by Kim Jae-hwan and Rojas’ walk, broke a 3-point arch against Samsung starter Jang Pil-joon. 

Soon after, Ahn Jae-seok’s heavy hit and Heo Gyeong-min’s left fielder’s double hit ran away by one more point. When Jeong Su-bin’s shortstop grounded, second base runner Heo Gyeong-min landed on third base. Jo Soo-haeng hit a heavy hit and called Heo Kyung-min home.

After two outs in the 7th inning, Doosan ran away with one more point with Yang Seok-hwan’s left-handed solo arch. Then Samsung overturned the charter with a shot by captain Oh Jae-il. Oh Jae-il hit a grand slam against Jeong Cheol-won, who was the rookie of the year, in the 7th inning with two outs and bases loaded. 7-6. 

Samsung starter Jang Pil-joon collapsed with 4 hits (1 home run), 2 walks and 5 runs in 2 innings. The second pitcher, Lee Jae-hee, put the Doosan batting line to rest with no runs for 4 innings. Left-hander Lee Sang-min became the third pitcher and won a relief victory. 

Doosan starter Kim Dong-joo came down the mound with 7 hits (1 home run) in 6 innings, 1 walk, 7 strikeouts and 3 runs (2 earned runs), meeting the requirements for a winning pitcher, but had to swallow regrets as the pitching team was shaken.
